SETH APPERT OF RENSSELAER IS NEW AHCA PRESIDENT

AMATEUR HOCKEY COMMUNITY COMES TO NAPLES, FL
Approximately 600 ice hockey coaches are expected to be on hand when the annual American Hockey Coaches Association Convention takes place in Naples, FL, later this week. The AHCA, which was founded in 1947, now totals nearly 1,500 members, the majority of which are NCAA men's and women's coaches. (Full Release)

COLLEGE HOCKEY COMMISSIONERS LAUNCH NEW WEB SITE
The commissioners of the six NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey conferences will launch a new web site tomorrow, April 9, on the eve of this year’s NCAA Frozen Four. Aimed primarily at young hockey players contemplating their playing options, “playcollegehockey.com” will provide a wealth of valuable information for players and families wishing to pursue the dream of playing college hockey. For his efforts in leading Wayne State University to its best season in school history, Jim Fetter has been named by his peers as the AHCA Women’s Division I Coach of the Year for 2007-08.
