Assistant Girls Prep Hockey Coach/Residence Hall Proctor - Gilmour Academy - Gates Mills, OH

Gilmour Academy is an Independent College Preparatory School located in in Gates Mills, Ohio an eastern suburb of Cleveland, OH. The school is a PreK-12/PG Co-ed catholic institution. The Gilmour Academy Girls Prep Hockey Team plays in as an Independent National tournament bound Mid-American District 19-U AAA team as well as an independent prep team competing in the NAPHA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Coach's Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the head coach and Director of Hockey in all aspects of coaching/managing the girls prep ice hockey team.
• Preparing practice plans, assisting and/or running team practices.
• Planning dry land training sessions, preparing and running team video sessions.
• Coordinating travel arrangements and plans.
• Assisting in admission enhancement of student-athletes.
• Provide support with girls youth hockey coaching and initiatives within the Gilmour Youth Hockey Association
• Assist with monitoring student-athlete academic performance.
• Monitor cafeteria, athletic center, ice arena, study hall,weight room, etc. during the school day.
• Performs other administrative and hockey operation duties pertaining to the program as assigned by the Head Coach, Director of Hockey and/or Gilmour Academy.

The Residence Hall Proctor Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Must physically reside in the residence hall throughout the academic school year.
• Must be available to work various day, evening/overnight, weekend and holiday shifts according to the duty schedule as prepared by the Dean of Residence Life and other Residence Life Proctors (typically work one evening shift a week and one weekend a month).
• Understands, maintains and upholds the rules and routines of the Boarding Program.
• Has a genuine interest in other cultures and understands how to build an inclusive and hospitable community.
• Carries out all duties and responsibilities connected to the Boarding Program when on duty (phone, filing, forms, attendance, van-runs, etc.). Must be available to assist students as needed and requested. Performs various "rounds" (social, safety, lights out, room checks, etc.) when on duty. Provides first aid and medical assistance as needed and seeks advice from the school nurse, or takes students to Walk-in-Clinic or call 911 as needed.
• Supervises events, activities and outings throughout the school year.
• Possesses maturity, leadership, strong communication, interpersonal and decision making skills while working with a team of Residence Life Proctors.While working with students, has an empathetic approach and patient demeanor while also demonstrating a positive, enthusiastic approach to learning and engagement.
• Possesses excellent judgment and decision-making ability – An ability to work under pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Extremely high attention to detail, tireless work ethic and passion for the sport of ice hockey/education.
• Strong knowledge of the sport of ice hockey, playing experience, and exceptional leadership skills.
• Valid, insurable driver's license is required, with the ability to travel to evaluate players.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as the schedule dictates.

University of Colorado Boulder - ACHA Men's D2 Head Hockey Coach

University of Colorado Boulder, an American Collegiate Hockey Association program with elite ACHA Men's Division 1 and Division 2 teams, is seeking candidates for the position of men's D2 head hockey coach.

The Head Coach is responsible for coaching, teaching and mentoring a team of approximately 25-30 student athletes. The head coach is charged with supervising all aspects of the team and ensuring that the program is operated in compliance with ACHA, Conference and school rules. Supervision includes team and assistant coach, working with team leadership and team officers at all tryouts, practices, and home and away games. The coach is also expected to attend all league and school meetings and assist where necessary.

The University of Colorado Boulder Men's D2 team will be going into their fourth season. The team has seen a lot of success in its first three seasons, winning their league and making it to the ACHA West Regional. The team competes in the Big Mountain Hockey Conference. The teams season runs from late August to March.

The job requires previous coaching experience. Previous AAA level and/or ACHA or NCAA playing and/or coaching experience is wanted.

Purdue Northwest Pride ACHA Division II - Assistant Coach

The Purdue Northwest Pride ACHA Division II team is seeking an assistant coach for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. As part of the Purdue Northwest ACHA Program, our assistant coach will have the opportunity to work alongside a professionally run hockey club that competes in the ACHA Division II. Neutral Zone Scouting Positions

Neutral Zone (www.neutralzone.net) is the leading independent scouting agency in North America covering 14-20 year-old NCAA/CHL prospects. The company has a team of professional scouts former NHL players to NCAA and CHL coaches. The company makes scout hires every August to prepare for the upcoming season and below are the different levels and opportunities being offered this season. The ACHA Board of Directors manages the business and affairs of the ACHA and has the authority to establish policies and procedures for the operation of the organization and its services.

The Board of Directors are the officers of the Association elected by the membership. Since this new position was voted on and approved by membership at the 2019 Annual Meeting, the positions' vacancy will be appointed by the current Board of Directors and will become an elected position by membership at the end of the current two-year term per ACHA Bylaws.

The new makeup of the ACHA Board of Directors will consist of the President, Vice President for M1, Vice President for M2, Vice President for M3, Vice President for W1, Vice President for W2, the Secretary, the Treasurer, and the USA Hockey Representative.

Responsibilities are to help oversee the operations of the ACHA as a whole and to represent Women's Division 1 on the Board of Directors. Work with Women's Division 1 Commissioner to make sure all functions of the division are running smoothly and support in any areas needed. Required to participate in scheduled board calls, attend the national tournament, annual meeting, and answer any emails in a timely fashion.

The Women's Ice Hockey team at WPI is looking for a qualified head coach. Going into our second full season, we are looking for a dedicated coach that will stay and grow with the team as we continue to build up our program.

Yale Hockey Sports Performance is looking for interns for the Fall and Spring Semester. Interns will have the opportunity to work hands on with the Men's and Women's Ice Hockey program. Interns will learn a variety of training styles and get experience using velocity based training, body composition techniques, administer nutrition to athletes, and much more. The Internship will also include weekly lectures on all things strength and conditioning, ranging from the history of strength and conditioning to performance nutrition.

The ideal candidates will be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or masters and using this internship for College credit. Candidates who have hockey experience are heavily preferred. Candidates who hold a CSCS, CSCCa or USAW certifications are preferred but not required.

University of Colorado Boulder – Men's D2 Ice Hockey Head Coach

University of Colorado Boulder, an American Collegiate Hockey Association program with elite ACHA Men's Division 1 and Division 2 teams, is seeking candidates for the position of men's D2 head hockey coach.

The Head Coach is responsible for coaching, teaching and mentoring a team of approximately 25-30 student athletes. The head coach is charged with supervising all aspects of the team and ensuring that the program is operated in compliance with ACHA, Conference and school rules. Head Coach- Central Michigan Unviersity Mens ACHA D-III Hockey

The Central Michigan University Hockey program is seeking qualified candidates for head coaching positions at the ACHA Division III level of the program, for the 2018-19 season.

Worcester Junior Railers (Youth) Hockey Club: Director of Hockey

Director of Ice Hockey will be responsible for the direction, administration, management, supervision and marketing of all ice hockey programming needs of the Junior Railers Hockey Club.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, administering and directing all aspects of Junior Railers Hockey Club; which includes learn to play, house league, VHL Travel, BHL/E9 both Select/Elite, and U18 Midgets teams.

Director of Ice Hockey will be tournament liaison for 8-12 ice hockey tournaments with the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center. The Depaul Blue Demons are associated with the ACHA at the Division II level. Our organization plays in the Northern Collegiate Hockey League (NCHL) which involves travel throughout the midwest. St. Olaf College, a NCAA Division III institution and member of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, invites applications for the full-time position of Head Women's Ice Hockey Coach. The 12-month position is responsible for the overall of management of the women's hockey program.

The program competes and practices in the St. Olaf Ice Arena, an $8 million on-campus facility the college opened in January. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to actively recruit and retain qualified student-athletes, oversee part-time assistant coaches, organize and administer practice and game strategies, schedule games, manage budgets, oversee administrative functions and coordinate alumni outreach efforts.

The position may include teaching or administrative responsibilities.

- Superior knowledge in ice hockey.
- Must be highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage/communicate effectively with student-athletes, administrators and student work staff members.
- Knowledge of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and MIAC regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree preferred.

New England College Men's Hockey - Graduate Assistant Hockey Coach

New England College, member of the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC), has an opening for the position of Graduate Assistant Hockey Coach. Responsibilities include recruiting and evaluating of potential student-athletes, game and practice preparation, video analysis, conditioning, and other duties as assigned. This is an excellent opportunity for a person wishing to pursue a career in college coaching.

Qualifications include a minimum of a bachelor's degree and the ability to gain admission to the New England College graduate program. In addition, the candidate must possess a strong knowledge of the game of hockey, playing or coaching experience at the college level or equivalent, effective organizational and communication skills and the ability to represent the philosophy and educational goals of New England College. New Jersey Titans Hockey Club - NEW Head Coach

The NJ Titans Hockey Club is located in Middletown, New Jersey is seeking applicants for a New Head Coaching position. The position would entail being the organization's Head Hockey Coach for our Tier-I U16 & Tier-I U14 women's teams.

This would be a full time position and the applicant will work closely with our women's hockey director and needed in NJ in the beginning of April. These teams are full season teams that competes from August thru March.
