CHEYENNE STAMPEDE- WSHL - JR. "A" TIER 2 - EQUIPMENT MANGAGER POSITION

The Cheyenne Stampede of the Western States Hockey League is seeking applications for our Equipment Manager position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (but not limited to)

•Assist with set-up for game video and stereo system
•Prepares both home and away locker rooms
•Provides a variety of supplies and equipment for both home and visiting teams
•Prepares athletes' equipment for games
•Prepares locker room for referees
•Orders post-game meals
•Provides equipment duties during all home and away games and practices
•Oversees team laundry operation (minimal)
•Equipment Manager(s) must have the ability to work under pressure in a team oriented environment
•Equipment Manager(s) must display discretion and integrity and possess leadership skills as well as having excellent communication skills when interacting with the general public, alumni, fans, players, coaches, and staff.

Buffalo State – Head Women's Hockey Coach

North American Hockey Academy- Assistant Coach Position

The North American Hockey Academy has an opening for an Assistant Coach.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute - Women's Club Hockey

The Women's Ice Hockey team at WPI is looking for qualified head and assistant coaches. The 2017-2018 season will be our inaugural season, and we are looking for coaches that will stay with the team for several seasons.

Coaches are responsible for on and off ice training, as well as being present and active at all tryouts, practices, home and away games, and all other team functions. Coaches are also expected to work closely with club execs (president, Vice President, secretary, treasurer) and with the school's administration. The season typically runs from October to March, but some responsibilities will be year round (scheduling and planning for upcoming seasons, league meetings, etc).

Qualifications:

- Previous coaching experience required
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Must be dedicated to helping the team succeed and creating a good environment for everyone
- USA Hockey accreditation required
- Must live in or around Worcester, Massachusetts

Central Michigan University - Head Coach ACHA D-III

The Central Michigan University Hockey program is seeking qualified candidates for head coaching positions at the ACHA Division III level of the program, for the 2018-19 season.

The Head Coach is responsible for personnel management, mentoring, and on and off-­‐ice training of approximately 25 student athletes with direct supervision over team and club officers and assistant coaches; this includes all tryouts, practices, home and away games, and other team functions such as, end-­‐of-­‐year events, spring recruit skates, marketing, and other possible events. The Head Coach is also expected to closely interact with a 5-10 team support staff (Club President, Secretary, head of hockey operations, etc) and Club sports personnel. The season runs from August through March, but duties extend year-­‐round (recruiting, team communication for scheduling and planning, league conference calls, ACHA annual convention, sponsor interaction, as well as other actions.)

Job Responsibilities:

- Organize, plan and attend two weekly practices
- Prepare for and attend all home and away games, including out-of-state games/tournaments
- Develop and attend off-ice workouts and other team functions
- In conjunction with other coaches, plan, coordinate and participate in team training camp
- Secure and manage assistant coaches
- Develop effective two-way communication plan with team leaders and Association governing body
- Other tasks assigned by Team President, Hockey Director or designee

Qualifications:

- Previous coaching experience required
- Collegiate or Junior playing experience helpful
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to attract and retain high-level players
- USA Hockey Accreditation required level 4 , including appropriate level, on-line module and USAH registration (or working to obtain)
- Share in and promote the programs philosophy and long-term vision

Salary: $8,000 dependent on education and experience; all travel (hotels, meal, transportation) costs are covered not counting practices and home games. Additional salary and benefit options may be possible.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Hockey Operations:

• Responsible for laundry for team including practice gear and uniforms
• In charge of equipment/apparel inventory and distributing, reordering if necessary
• Team travel and food coordinator (prior to season starting)
• Video set up, breakdown and exchanges
• Assisting in daily operations
• Team Social Media Updates/Initiative's
• Game Manager for home games for team ( meeting officials, opposing team, assisting with timing protocol, organizing any student workers that might be working if any)
• Assisting Sports Information with help at home games if we have conflicts with other sports.
• Other duties as assigned by Head Coach and AVP for Athletics

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Excellent written and oral communication skills
2. The ability to multi task successfully
3. Computer proficiency
4. College hockey experience preferred
5. Unqualified background check
6. Valid US Driver License and clear driving record check.
7. Ability to stand for long periods as well as the ability to lift, pull and push 25-50lbs on a regular basis.

NCD Boys Development Camp - Three Counselors

Looking for 3 off-ice counselors to work July 15-18 at the New England Sports Center at the NCD Boys Development Camp (NCDCamps.com). All on-ice staff are current Division 1, 3 or prep school coaches. Great gig for current college athletes or coaches. Hotel included if needed.

- Make sure water bottles are filled, pucks, coaches boards on ice before each session and put away afterwards
- Help with fitness sessions
- Help with meal set-up
- Help direct camper groups to meals, bus pickups, etc.

- Help clean up at end of camp

One counselor at hotel

- Go with bus shuttle to airport to pickup campers
- Check campers into hotel rooms
- Wake up calls in morning and making sure campers are on bus
- Monitor campers coming in from rink and returning on busses to rink mid-day.
- Hang out in lobby of hotel when campers are in building to monitor and help any campers
- Bed check all camper rooms at night
- Go with campers on shuttle bus for drop off at end of camp (bus will return you to the hotel).

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's Degree is preferred
• Previous NCAA collegiate playing experience is required
• Previous NCAA collegiate coaching experience is required, head NCAA coaching experience is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to speak in a public forum to University faculty, staff, alumni and the surrounding community
• Experience with fundraising organizations in support of the hockey program
• Knowledge of all NCAA rules and regulations

Ohio University ACHA Division Two Hockey – Head Coach

Team & Organization:

• Ohio University's Division Two Men's Hockey team competes as a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and within the Tri-State Collegiate Hockey League (TSCHL) conference. On average the Bobcats play a 30 game season plus playoffs. Over the past 7 years the Bobcats have made 7 trips to the TSCHL playoffs, 4 appearances in the TSCHL championship game, 4 straight ACHA Southeast Regional Bids, a 2016-17 ACHA National Tournament Bid and won the 2017-18 TSCHL Tournament Championship. The Bobcats typically carry a 25 player roster, which includes players from across the country and from varying playing levels, including Prep-School, AAA, High-School and Junior Hockey.

• Ohio University's Division Two Men's Hockey team plays under the umbrella of Ohio University's Club Sports, which is a branch of Ohio University Campus Recreation (Student Affairs).

Wenatchee Amateur Hockey Association and the Wenatchee Wild Hockey Club are looking for a full-time Assistant Coach to work with the Tier 1 AAA club teams which consist of the Wolves U18, Wilderness U16, and Wolverines U14 teams. There will be around 25 games in the upcoming season. This will be composed of 10-15 home games and 10-15 away games. The home games are played at the NTPRD Chiller in Springfield, OH.

Travel:

Travel is paid for by the Team's University fund. The team takes two 12-Passenger Vans and a Cargo Van to away games exceeding a one hour drive from the University. Currently, there are 5 away trips planned with only one night needing a hotel. (This may change!)

Responsibilities:

The Coach is responsible for conducting practices, game day management, conducting any team meetings, and communicating with the student leaders and team advisor.

Qualifications:

- High level hockey experience
- Strong recruitment skills
- Excellent work ethic and character
- Must pass a background check from the University

Contract:

This is a paid position.
Coaches are expected to help the team in any way they deem appropriate.

Full-Time Assistant Coach – Wenatchee Tier 1 AAA Development Teams

Wenatchee Amateur Hockey Association and the Wenatchee Wild Hockey Club are looking for a full-time Assistant Coach to work with the Tier 1 AAA club teams which consist of the Wolves U18, Wilderness U16, and Wolverines U14 teams. • Your primary duty is to oversee the successful delivery of the Bantam Boys Hockey program at The Kimberley Academy. Objectives

• Recruit a competitive team with a minimum of 15 players who will represent the The Kimberley Academy Bantam boys hockey program for the designated age group (U15). All players must attend Selkirk Secondary School as full time student-athletes.
• Create and organize a plan for on ice practices and development. The program should have a steady progressive approach to skills development.
• Assist in finalizing and organizing a yearly schedule that includes tournaments, exhibition games, school visits, educational-themed visits or events (roughly 50-60 game schedule).
• Proper supervision of student-athletes during all team activities and on the road at games/tournaments
• Locate and attend recruiting events that may involve extensive travel (Europe, USA, …)
• Use video to assist with in-game corrections and development.

EKU Colonels Men's Ice Hockey - Graduate Assistant Coach

Head Coach Responsibilities

The primary job of the Head Coach is to manage all aspects of the Premier Team activities. This includes, but is not limited to:

Assisting General Manager in accountability to and enforcement of team and Billet rules for individual players.

The ACHA is comprised of over 500 institutions in five (5) divisions (Men's Division 1, Men's Division 2, Men's Division 3, Women's Division 1, and Women's Division 2) in the United States and Canada.

The Executive Director will be responsible for the governance and oversight of the operations of the ACHA, including but not limited to: managing the ACHA governance structure, personnel management, media and community relations, and communication with the Board of Directors. This position will report to the ACHA Board of Directors and have direct supervision of the ACHA Director of Hockey Operations, ACHA Director of Development/Business Operations and ACHA Public Relations/Communications Director.

The Executive Director is expected to create a vision for growing the economic resources of the ACHA, improving the recruiting efforts of college hockey and its member institutions and growing the relationships with USA Hockey and major sponsors. This position requires the ability to travel and work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.

Salary and benefits package will be commensurate with experience. Potential opportunities for bonus exist as well.

Successful applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree, although a post-graduate degree is preferred; strong interpersonal, organizational , written and oral communication skills; knowledge of and prior experience with the ACHA, as well as amateur hockey in the United States (particularly college hockey); significant leadership in intercollegiate athletics and/or business environments; and a proven ability to generate fundraising opportunities.

New Jersey Junior Titans – Atlantic Youth Hockey League - Head Coach 18u "AAA" Team

Summary:

This position will report directly to the hockey director. The Head Coach will be responsible for selecting players for this team as well as organizing and implementing off season and in season training programs. The Head Coach will need to work with their assistant coach and strength and conditioning coach to coordinate all team activities including practices, games, team meetings, video sessions as well as other team events. In addition to fielding a highly competitive, nationally ranked team, the coach will also be involved in helping players develop on the ice and promoting them to the highest of levels including junior and college hockey.

• Assist in all phases of team travel (i.e. being the "Point man" on the road)
• Begin to develop contacts within the league for the purpose of becoming familiar with arena regulations and set up, and begin to "network" with equipment manufactures reps and vendors
• Develop a working budget for the following season based on end of season inventory
• In charge of the process of soliciting bids, making formalized purchase orders, and continued follow-up on all bids and orders throughout the course of the summer months
