NCDC Deputy Commissioner

The National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), which is the tuition-free Junior hockey division of the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), is searching for a Deputy Commissioner for its inaugural 2017-18 season.

Duties of the Deputy Commissioner will include, but are not limited to:

- Being a public presence at NCDC games and events
- Working with NCDC coaching staffs and NCAA hockey coaches to enhance player advancement
- Managing and overseeing all phases of NCDC on-ice competition
- Managing NCDC scheduling and other competitive/season processes
- Assisting USPHL Director of Business Development with potential marketing opportunities
- Other duties related to ensuring the success of the NCDC on and off the ice

Central Michigan University ACHA D-III Head Coach Position

The Central Michigan University Hockey program is seeking qualified candidates for head coaching positions at the ACHA Division III level of the program, for the 2017-18 season.

The Head Coach is responsible for personnel management, mentoring, and on and off-­‐ice training of approximately 25 student athletes with direct supervision over team and club officers and assistant coaches; this includes all tryouts, practices, home and away games, and other team functions such as, end-­‐of-­‐year events, spring recruit skates, marketing, and other possible events. The Head Coach is also expected to closely interact with a 5-10 team support staff (Club President, Secretary, head of hockey operations, etc) and Club sports personnel. The season runs from August through March, but duties extend year-­‐round (recruiting, team communication for scheduling and planning, league conference calls, ACHA annual convention, sponsor interaction, as well as other actions.)

COACHING OPPORTUNITY WITH PILOT MOUND HOCKEY ACADEMY

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (PMHA) is accepting applications for the position of a full time Head Coach and a part time Assistant Coach for the upcoming 2017-2018 hockey season. PMHA currently has a Midget Male Varsity Team and are now expanding to include a Female Midget Hockey Team. PMHA is an educational based, 10 month Hockey Program, operating out of the Pilot Mound Millennium Recreation Complex in Manitoba who competes within the Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL). All players must attend Pilot Mound Collegiate. The team consists of Local, Canadian and International players who are accepted into the program through a recruitment process managed by the Coaches. Applicants must be committed to working within a team environment and possess strong commitment to player development. Applicants will be community minded individuals and work within the PMHA mandate.

The Head Coach will have the full responsibility of the Female team; however will work closely with the Coaching staff of both teams. EKU Colonels Men's Ice Hockey - Graduate Assistant Coach

Responsible for administration of all Youth Hockey leagues, including coach training, player development, evaluation skates and drafts.

With the building of our own new, real ice training facility, the goalie coach will coach with local hockey programs during the season and in the Spring and Summer be able to coach lessons at our own facility! We are seeking a team player, a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, and a results driven former Goalie(s) who have played Junior, Collegiate or Professional hockey to lead the growth and development of the program's current and future goaltender clients. Qualifications:

* Played Goalie at the junior, collegiate or professional level and has an in-depth knowledge of ice-hockey, goaltending, and sports-specific performance training
* Positive, personable outlook, energetic, detail-oriented, happy, hardworking and thrive in high-pressure situations
* Outstanding organizational and customer service skills (both written and orally)
* Must enjoy working in team environment, but requires little supervision
* Must be a self-starter, be able to work on its own, and be able to take initiative
* Must be able to start projects and see them through to completion
* Enjoy coaching goalies of all ages and skill level
* Focused on making goalies better every day
* Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs
* Marketing and sales background is preferred
* Knowledge of video editing a plus, but not required
* 4 year college degree or extensive coaching experience is required
* Clear background check required
* Must be willing to relocate

Responsibilities:

* Work with Program Manager to develop fun and exciting hockey training programs for players of all ages
* Train and coach clients in a fun, safe and motivating manor and provide top quality customer service
* Instruct at private lessons, clinics, and camps as well as at team practices
* Shoot and edit both video analysis footage and instructional videos
* Create and grow relationships with athletes and their parents and be a
presence at tryouts, games and tournaments in the area
* Complete pre and post athlete evaluations
* Spearhead new projects that produce new streams of revenue for the program
* Must be willing to work mornings and evenings and weekends

Hockey Without Borders: The experience of a lifetime coaching and playing hockey overseas!

Hockey Without Borders is a non-profit organization established to bring sport and culture together. The aim is to promote the overall health and growth of the sport and in turn effect positive change in the lives of others.

River Falls Renegades (USPHL Elite League) - Interns

The River Falls Renegades, proud member of the USPHL Elite League, will be hiring interns for the 2016-17 season. These are volunteer, unpaid positions. Interns will be responsible for game-night ticket sales, maintaining team statistics, working with the President in the area of media relations, and working with the Director of Player Personnel in the area of team-player relations.

Ideal candidates must possess the following qualties:

- Willingness to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic; punctuality is a must.
- High energy, positive temperment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the game of hockey is preferred, but not required.
Requirements:

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a two or four year program at a community college or university.

The University of Delaware is seeking applicants for the Assistant Coach of the Men's Division 1 team.

Start Date: The Asst. coach for the 2016-2017 season is expected to start work immediately with the board over the summer to coordinate and organize the up and coming season.

Qualifications:
