This individual is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all phases of our NCAA Division III hockey program within compliance of Marian University, Northern Collegiate Hockey Association, and NCAA rules and regulations.

The essential functions of this position are to in cooperation with the Head Men's Hockey Coach, the Assistant Men's Hockey Coach develops and maintains a system to identify prospective student-athletes and to work closely with area high school/club and various junior league coaches to recruit quality student-athletes. Maintain and build the roster levels to the heights that are discussed and set by the Director of Athletics and Head Men's Hockey Coach. Assist in retaining current student-athletes. Adhere to all Department, University, Northern Collegiate Hockey Association, and NCAA rules and regulations. Assist in monitoring student-athletes academic progress. Assist in practice preparation, evaluation, and implementation for both the Varsity and Varsity Reserve programs. Assist the Head Coach with all game day responsibilities. Assist with all phases of Marian Hockey Camps. Assist in Athletic fundraising campaigns. Assist in scouting future opponents. Assist in continuing a quality relationship with the Blue Line Hockey Clubs; including the coaches, players, and all of its members. Serves as a role model for the student athletes by exhibiting ethical and professional conduct at all time. Maintains confidentiality of information exposed to in the course of business regarding students, supervisors or other employees. Additional significant duties will be assigned (based on qualifications and departmental need). Other duties as assigned by Head Men's Hockey Coach or Director of Athletics.

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree is preferred. Previous collegiate or junior level coaching and recruiting experience required. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of NCAA Division III philosophy, recruitment, rules and regulations. Must have willingness to work nights and weekends. Candidate must demonstrate great organizational skills in addition to writing and typing skills, interpersonal skills, and superior leadership skills. Valid driver's license is required. There must be willingness to support the Mission and Core Values of the University.

King's College Women's Hockey Assistant Coach

The King's College Women's Ice Hockey program is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Coach. This is a full time 10 month position ranging from August-May. This individual will be under the direct supervision of the Head Coach and will be involved in all phases of the new program including recruiting, mentoring/coaching, and program administration. BIRMINGHAM BULLS Youth Hockey Coaches 2017 - 2018 Season

The Birmingham Bulls youth travel program is seeking qualified head and assistant coaches for the 2017-2018 season for U10, U12, U14 and U16.

Responsibilities include two team practices and one combined skills practice a week August thru March. Teams play in three tournaments and the Southern Youth Hockey League. Coaching duties include preparing for team practices that focus individual skill development and team tactics, as well as game preparation. CUA Ice Hockey is currently looking for (2) two assistant coaches for the upcoming 2017-2018 season. CUA is a part of the ACHA Division 3 and plays in the Delaware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference(DVCHC).

The Colby College Department of Athletics seeks a full-time head women's hockey coach, beginning July 1, 2017. This is an adjunct faculty position with benefits. The head coach is responsible for the direction, instruction, supervision, and coaching of the women's hockey program. Responsibilities also include the overall administration of the program including budget, equipment and travel. The recruitment of student-athletes is also required. A secondary responsibility will be added depending on the qualifications of the applicant.

Colby is a highly selective private liberal arts college of approximately 1850 students located in central Maine. The college is an NCAA Division III institution and is a member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC).

Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. The candidate should have successful experience as a head coach or substantial experience as an assistant coach. Previous coaching and recruiting experience on the college level is desirable.

Job Description: The Boston Shamrocks Hockey Academy at Pope John XXIII School in Boston, MA is looking for a Full Time Assistant Coach for the Boys Full Season U18 Tier I AAA Varsity Prep Team. The individual would also be a Residential Advisor at Pope John XXIII School. Pope John is a private co-ed Catholic boarding school in Everett, MA (2 Miles outside downtown Boston).

The Boston Shamrocks Hockey Academy is a combination of Tier I AAA midget hockey and boarding school. All players attend and live at Pope John XXIII School and play for the Boston Shamrocks. The Shamrocks are members of the East Coast Elite League (ECEL) and E9 Hockey league.

The Season begins upon student arrival on September 1st, 2017 and goes through the end of March, 2018. Game schedule consists of 60-70 games. Home rink is the Allied Veteran's Memorial Arena in Everett located just off the main Pope John campus roughly half a mile away from school.

Central Michigan University ACHA D-III Head Coach Position

The Central Michigan University Hockey program is seeking qualified candidates for head coaching positions at the ACHA Division III level of the program, for the 2017-18 season.

COACHING OPPORTUNITY WITH PILOT MOUND HOCKEY ACADEMY

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (PMHA) is accepting applications for the position of a full time Head Coach and a part time Assistant Coach for the upcoming 2017-2018 hockey season. PMHA currently has a Midget Male Varsity Team and are now expanding to include a Female Midget Hockey Team. PMHA is an educational based, 10 month Hockey Program, operating out of the Pilot Mound Millennium Recreation Complex in Manitoba who competes within the Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL). All players must attend Pilot Mound Collegiate. The team consists of Local, Canadian and International players who are accepted into the program through a recruitment process managed by the Coaches. Applicants must be committed to working within a team environment and possess strong commitment to player development. Applicants will be community minded individuals and work within the PMHA mandate.

The Head Coach will have the full responsibility of the Female team; however will work closely with the Coaching staff of both teams. The Head Coach will be available for all ice sessions, actively monitor the educational achievements of the players and travel extensively with the team. The Assistant Coach will be responsible for logistics for the team and must be available for all of the ice sessions, dryland and all team travel.

A demonstrated, high level of coaching skill is required, including recruitment and management capabilities. EKU Colonels Men's Ice Hockey - Graduate Assistant Coach

The EKU Colonels Hockey Club is seeking a volunteer assistant coach for the upcoming 2017-18 season. The Colonels will play a 3o-game schedule in the ACHA with two practices per week and two off-ice sessions per week on campus.

Buffalo State College, an NCAA Division III member, invites applicants for the position of Hockey Equipment Manager. The Equipment Manager is a part time unpaid position that lasts approximately 5 months. You will be expected to attend most practices and all games both at home and on the road.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Assist with set-up for video and stereo system
- Prepares both home and away locker rooms
- Provides a variety of supplies and equipment for team
- Prepares student-athletes' equipment for games
- Prepares locker room for referees
- Provides equipment duties during all home and away games and some practices
- Oversees team laundry operation
- Must be able to travel and maintain flexible hours
- Skate sharpening
- Perform some office duties, including trip planning and managing equipment inventory

SUNY Cortland Women's Ice Hockey Part Time Assistant

SUNY Cortland Department of Athletics seeks qualified candidates for the part-time position of assistant women's ice hockey coach. The part-time assistant coach will be responsible for participating in the supervision and direction of all aspects of the women's ice hockey team. Duties will include coaching, teaching and instructing student-athletes in all aspects of the sport. This individual will also assist in practice and game preparation, recruitment of quality student-athletes, video break down, and communicating effectively with players, parents, alumni, and administration. In addition, the assistant coach must become familiar with, adhere to, and enforce all the policies and procedures of the Athletic Department as well as the rules and regulations of the NCAA. Specific areas of responsibility and other duties as assigned will be designated by the head coach.

Bachelor's degree required and college playing experience preferred. The successful candidate should possess solid organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills, knowledge of the game, and ability to identify and attract outstanding student-athletes to the College. Hockey Youth Coordinator

PRINCIPAL FUNCTION

Responsible for administration of all Youth Hockey leagues, including coach training, player development, evaluation skates and drafts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for administration of all youth hockey leagues, which includes monitoring all practices and games.
2. Record and enter schedules and registration for all hockey leagues and drafts.
3. Assist with organizing and administering draft skates for youth leagues.
4. Assist in assessing player skill ratings and developing draft reports and rosters for all youth leagues.
5. Validate and record USA Hockey registrations. Update as necessary.
6. Assist in organization of team jersey orders, trophy orders, team photos and any season events.
7. Collect and record player financial information, payments and refunds. Have a high level of efficiency with CSI program registration to assist in enrolling players in leagues.
8. Assist in updating of player information including current phone numbers, addresses and emails.
9. Assist in scheduling and keeping records of referee and scorekeeper payroll to report to Hockey Manager for payroll.
10. Assist in recording and posting all youth team standings and player statistics.
11. Working knowledge and understanding of all hockey programs.
12. Assist in planning, organization and execution of all parties and events for all house league seasons.
13. Ensure coaches are following USA Hockey ADM practice model and to assist in development of coaches and players.
14. Assist in the development of all volunteer house league coaches.
15. Assist in the process of ensuring coaches are completing and utilizing player progress reports.
16. Send timely email communications to all coaches, parents and players as necessary.
17. Assist in the coordinating of the Mite ADM Program.
18. Assist on and off of the ice with all Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Programs.
19. Perform Skate and Shoot safety guard duties as needed.
20. Perform scorekeeper duties and functions as needed.
21. Maintain a neat and professional personal appearance, by wearing the MVP Sports Clubs uniform (see uniform matrix) and name badge.
22. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience related to coordinating team and league activities, as well as organizing special events required.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in administration of large sports leagues or similar programs required. 5 years preferred.
3. Proficient knowledge of hockey and skating skills a must.
4. USA Hockey CEP Level 3 required. Level 4 or 5 preferred.
5. Minimum of 5 years of playing experience required. College or Junior playing experience preferred.
6. Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience required. High School or higher coaching level experience preferred.
7. Must be highly organized and able to work with athletes, trainers, coaches, referees, parents and arena staff.
8. Must have basic computer skills including Excel and Word and minimum High School education.
9. CPR and First Aid certifications.
10. Physical Requirements: Bend, stoop, crouch, climb, stand, sit and turn/pivot; Lift/lower, push, pull and carry up to 40 lbs; perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, typing, and/or word processing, filing, calculating and use of telephone; See, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions
