Director, Whalers Youth Hockey - Champions Skating Center (Cromwell, CT)

This position will oversee and run the Little Whalers Rookies Program. The program consists of three-10 week sessions, 2 times per week, 1 hour per session, cross-ice games would be introduced in the 2nd session. The key here is to grow the program! The Director will educate the parents on the Whalers Hockey travel program transition.

The Director will become involved in team scheduling, managing skills sessions, and goalie sessions, running hockey camps, spring tryouts, and other events throughout the season. All sessions will follow the ADM model.

Summer Hockey Director Needed - Camp Equinunk

Camp Equinunk is a 7-week sleepaway camp in Equinunk, PA. Camp runs from June 26th – August 13th. We are what you call a “traditional” sleep away camp where the campers play all sports, swimming, boating, arts and crafts and more! Camp Equinunk has boys from the ages of 8-16 years old and hockey is one of the biggest and most popular activities at camp.

We have a state of the art hockey facility and we host the Equinunk Cup hockey tournament for our oldest campers. The atmosphere is electric (Hockey Highlights - YouTube)!

As Hockey Director, you will be working with all of our teams to coach and run practices, work one on one with campers looking for additional hockey instruction, run drills during our “Varsity X” and “Mini Camp” programs and much more. Many of our campers that gravitate towards the hockey rink play on travel ice and roller hockey teams back home in the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the Florida areas.

The Assistant Coach, Women's D2 Club Ice Hockey is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis. The university is a proud member of the ACHA with successful hockey programs at the Men’s D1, D3, and D4 levels, and Women's D2 ACHA. Standard Work Days and Hours: Variable depending on season. Ability to work weekends and evenings required. Coaches are expected to be on campus during the academic year (late August – Reunion Weekend in June) and are expected to keep hours during this time that make them readily available to students. For full time coaches, this may involve greater than 40 hours per week in season and varied weekly hours out of season. It is expected that coaches will recruit during the summer months requiring possible additional travel. Frequent overnight travel with student athletes is required during the Ice Hockey season.

Snider Hockey – Girls’ Hockey Program Manager

The Girls’ Hockey Program Manager will oversee the continued growth of girls’ participation and development at all levels of Snider Hockey programs. Connecticut Ice Cats Girls Youth Hockey Program - Coaches Needed

The Ice Cats are an all girls program based out of Stamford Twin Rink and Darien Ice House in Fairfield County Connecticut. We field 12 teams between U8 and U19 at the Tier 1 and Tier 2 level (U12 and U14 levels we have a Tier 1 offering). We are looking for qualified candidates to serve as both head coaches and assistant coaches for our relative teams mainly at the U10, U12 and U14 levels. We are seeking highly motivated individuals whom are able to make practices, games and tournaments as scheduled during the season which runs from September through March.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Women’s Hockey Coach include:

Summer Camp Roller/Floor Hockey Instructor Wanted! (Room & Board Provided)

Camps Chipinaw and Silver Lake are traditional residential children's summer camps in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Our campers range from ages 7-16. We offer all of our staff full room and board plus a travel stipend and a competitive salary, dependent on experience.

At this time, we are looking for two roller/floor hockey instructors for Summer 2022. This role consists of planning daily lessons for 50-minute sessions, helping run and referee tournaments and league games, and ensuring that the campers are having fun while learning the game. We want our staff to be creative, positive, and have fun while teaching. You will also get to experience everything a traditional summer camp has to offer.

Summary:

Vermont Academy is nestled on four hundred fifty acres at the foothills of the Green Mountains in Saxtons River, Vermont, and has provided a supportive community and close personal attention to its students for 146 years.

Vermont Academy is accepting applications for Head Coach of our Girls Varsity Hockey Program. The Girls’ Ice Hockey program has been a tradition at Vermont Academy since its inception in 1998. The girls compete in the New England Prep School League, as well as the Lakes Region Conference against some of the top teams in New England. Vermont Academy aims to prepare its student-athletes for the next level on and off the ice by developing its players in nearly every facet of life. Coaches and players work toward accomplishing goals together through skill development, strategizing, and off-ice training. Yellowstone Quake Jr. A Hockey (NA3HL) - Cody, Wyoming - Head Coach

The NA3HL Yellowstone Quake Jr. A Hockey Organization are seeking a qualified and highly motivated Head coach to join our organization for the 2022-2023 season.

Responsibilities:

-As head coach, you will work closely with all staff on a daily basis.
-Recruiting, working within a budget
-Handling of parental concerns
-Scheduling travel itineraries
-On and off ice training and practices
-Player wellness

Qualified candidates will be required to show an established network in the youth/ junior hockey circuit and provide a proven ability to recruit at the junior level. Strong communication and organizational skills along with willingness to support and promote the Yellowstone Quake Jr. A hockey club as well as our local youth program is a must.

Player development on and off the ice is also a must. The Yellowstone Quake organization strives for player advancement to the next tier level of play in juniors and to the collegiate level.

Compensation is negotiable and will be discussed upon conducting a successful interview.
